I've been working across a broad range of creative marketing skills for 18 years, and I bring this variety to my work. I love being there for businesses like yours - allowing you to outsource marketing to a trusted ally, who's excited to see your business grow.

I love helping people like you take their big ideas and turn these into relatable, achievable plans to make marketing and communications activities fun and attainable.
I also love to write, design and take photos! My clients would describe me as friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and someone who uses initiative.
As a Whangarei Girls' High school-leaver, I ventured south to the University of Waikato, where I studied a Bachelor of Communication Studies. I met my husband at university, and upon graduating joined him in the Bay of Plenty and began my career as a copywriter and photographer for a tourism marketing agency in Mount Maunganui.
We both returned to Hamilton, where I enjoyed five years as a public relations and marketing coordinator at the University of Waikato.
Family ties brought us back to Whangarei where I spent nearly four years as the marketing coordinator for innovative construction company, Donovan Group.
As a Mum of two boys, Carmichael Creative allows me to do what I enjoy while being there for my young family.
Giving back
When print media was abundant, one of the favourite parts of my job was to write media releases and send them off around the region or country. The excitement of seeing my words and photography in print was always rewarding.
That's why I decided to volunteer as a regular contributor to our local community newsletter - the Onerahi Orbit.
I get to write and take photos, and the community benefits! Win: win!
